The Culteva Reports can be accessed either bly clicking on the link in the evaluations Card or by opening the sidebar and selecting the Report Index option.
Once you are on the Report Index you will see all the Reports within your Organization. Here you can create new Reports, edit existing ones or delete ones you no longer require. On the left of the index you will see a sidebar containing options to filter through the index.
You can filter by:
- Scion Cultivar
- Rootstock Cultivar
- Crop Type
You can clear the filters of the index by clicking the red CLEAR FILTERS below Filter Crop
You can sort the Index by click on the Title and Clock icons at the top of the Index, sorting by descending and ascending. Additional options can be viewed by click the three dots next to the icon.
Options include:
- View Report - Opens the Report in a Preview Mode
- Samples - View the samples that are within the Report
- Edit Report - Opens the Report Builder, allowing for edits to be made to the Report
- Share Report - Opens the Share Report Dialog with sharing options for the Report
- Delete Report - Removes the Report after a confirmation dialog has been completed
Now you are ready to create your Reports
Reports bring valuable insights to your Cultivars and data collected within Culteva.
Reports Are Generated by:
- Clicking the plus button on the Report Index
- or by clicking the create report button on the top right part of the Sample Index.
The Create Report Form Will look as follows:

The Create Report Form
- Title The name you would like to give the Report.
- Description A short description of the Report.
- Template Which template you would like your Report to be based on. (You can create Reports in the Report Builder at the bottom of the screen next to the Save Button)
You will now be on the Report Builder. Here you will compile your Report by selecting various options, samples to include, Weather Data to add and many more settings.
The Tabs at the top left of the Sidebar:

- Report The options available to be included within the Report
- Samples Options regarding the samples, images an notes to include within the Report.
- Weather The Weather Data you would like to include within the Report.
- Tables In this Tab you can create your own Custom Tables to be included within the Report.
While you are changing options and adding samples to the Report don't forget to save regularly (Planned Auto Save feature to come soon). Notice that the Report Preview will change as you make changes and that some of the icons will not be present on the Report in preview mode. Preview mode is what users will see when viewing the Report either from the Report Index or when shared to them through the Sharing function.
At the top right you will see a sharing icon, once clicked it will open up a Report Sharing form.

You will be able to share the Report with non-Culteva users. At the top you will see the Share Report URL. You can copy that URL and send that to the people you would like to share the Report with. The next field is an email field where you can add the emails you would like to share to if you do not wish to send the URL manually. You can enter multiple emails by seperating them with a common and clicking the Share Link. Note that you can revoke access to the Report by clicking the Stop Sharing button, in red, at the bottom of the form.
Disclaimer
- Anyone with the link will be able to view the report and all associated sample evaluation data, Cultivars, locations, etc.
- Ensure you only share the link with trusted individuals.
- Neither Provar nor you have control to whom the initial recipient(s) forwards or shares this link with.
- The generated link will always reflect the current evaluation data, meaning it will be a live Report which will change as you make changes.
- Neither the report nor evaluation data can be modified by someone using the link.
Create Template
While working on Reports, you can create Templates which will save the options you have selected and be available to select when creating future Reports.
The Report consists of multiple sections, each pertaining to a different data aspect that you can collect. More detail about each section below.
Report Tab

Options
Theme
There are currently two theme's available in Culteva Reports. One is the Provar standard and the other is the Canon theme. They change the color scheme of the Report but will plan on expanding the list as well as having additional options regarding the theme's
Letterhead
The letterhead is the banner that will show at the top of the Report when viewing. You can upload and select your own banner.
Show Empty Fields
Toggles whether the Report shows empty data fields or not. Reduces Report length by removing unnecessary fields.
Specifications
Specifications show the details of the Samples selected to use within the Report. You can turn it on and off. Additionally the Storage Regime option adds the Storage details to Harvest Samples that have a Regime in a neat and effective manner.
Timeline
The Timeline of the Report shows the different important dates of the included Samples of the Report and can be interacted with. You will be able to select which Samples are shown on the Timeline from the Samples Tab. Note that changes you make to the Timeline and then save will be shown within the Preview mode to showcase the important information.
Weather
The Weather Section can be turned on and off with this option and will display the data selected from the Weather Data Tab. Weather Graphs will show two in a row and as many Graphs you would like to display.
Custom Tables
Custom Tables can be toggled on and off. Tables can be managed from the Tables Tab.
Info Sheet
The Info Sheet section can be toggled on and off and options can be selected. The Cultivar Info Sheet summarises The Cultivars that will be shown can be selected on the Samples Tab by clicking the Cultivar Selection selection box and searching for the Cultivar of your choice.
The options are as follows:
- Show Sample Origin
- Shows a small summary of the Samples included within the Info Sheet
- Include Characteristics
- You can select the Characteristics you would like to show/compare between Cultivars
- Include Measurements Charts
- You can select the Measurements you would like to show/compare and between Cultivars
- Include Index Charts
- You can select the Indexes to show and will include graphs to compare the two Cultivars
- Image Size
- You can select the Size of the Images within the Sample
Characteristics
The Characteristic Section allows the User to choose what Characteristics to show within this section.
Options Include:
- Include Characteristics
- Dense Layout
- Condenses the content of the Section to take up less space
Measurements
The Measurement Section allows the User to select the Measurements you would like to show within theReport based on the Samples you have selected. This section contains Graphs which have options and can be changed. Options include graph type, interval etc.
Indexes
Indexes are graphs/summaries of a selection of weighted Characteristics/Measurements.
The options available are as follows:
- Include Indexes
- The available list of Index in CUlteva that you can choose from
- Show Index Cards
- Summary of the included Characteristics/Measurements and their values
- Show Index Data
- Table of values of the Index and their totals
Images
Options about the Images of the Sample Evaluations included within the Report. Here you will have options to show data of the selected Samples which you can manage on the Samples Tab.
The options for theImages are as follows:
- Image Size
- Determines the Size of the Images displayed within the Report.
- Show Site
- Toggle showing Evaluation Site
- Show Planted Year
- Show the Planted/Harvested Year of the Sample
- Show Notes
- Toggles notes of Included Sample Evaluations
- Show Dates
- Shows the date when the Image was taken
- Overlay Info
- Displays the data over the Image to take up less space
Notes
Toggles the note Section of the Report and shows the selected Notes of included Evaluations.
Samples Tab
The Samples Tab is where you select the Data to include within the Report. You will be able to select whole Cultivars' Samples, individual Samples, toggle where or not the Sample should display on the Timeline as well as toggle certain images and notes of Sample Evaluations.
Cultivar Selection
This checkbox opens up two fields which are used for the Info SHeet Cultivar selection. The Primary selection is the Cultivar you would like to summarise and the Control Cultivar is the Cultivar you would like to compare to. When a Cultivar is selected all Samples will be added to the Report Data. They can be toggled off individually by deselecting their tick boxes.
Samples Search
Samples can be added to the Report by searching their label and Sample code. Once selected by clicking the plus button their data will be added to the Report. Their data can be toggled by clicking the dropdown of the Samples.
Weather Station
The Weather Station Tab is where you can include Weather Data into your Report. To include Weather data select the appropriate Weather Station from the dropdown located on the left. Once selected a Form will popup and you will be able to select the appropriate model and data you wish to include.
Your Weather Data will then appear under the Weather Section of the Report.
Tables Tab
The Custom Tables is where you can create your own Tables and select the Data which you want to include with the Sample Data that you select. From this Tab when you have created a Table you will be able to select the Data which you want to include which will consist of the Samples you have selected within the Samples Tab.
Each Table will be able to show different Samples for your purpose.
Custom Report Table
To create a Custom Table click the black cross icon located on the Sidebar to the right. Once click you will be presented by a Setup Table form which will resemble the Custom Protocols Form.
Available Fields:
- Table Title
- The title which will display on the Report
- Table Description
- A brief description of the Table that will be shown on the Report
- Aggregated Evaluations
- A toggle which will summarise the data into one value per sample (averages a Samples' Evaluations into one value)
- Spread Evaluations
- Crop
- Select the Crop what will be used in the Custom Table
- Properties
- Characteristics
- Measurements
- Indexes
- Calculations
Once you have completed the form you can click the Save Button and your Custom Table will be created and available to be shown on the Report.
